Terms and Conditions
A copy of the booking form will be sent to the customer requesting the booking. This booking is not complete until both the customer and dj have agreed to the booking agreement and the deposit has cleared within 7 days from the booking date,
DJs can confirm via email direct with us. Customers can confirm by simply paying the agreed deposit online and signing the contract (digitally). Failure to do this will release us from our commitment to provide you with a DJ and your allocated DJ will become available for other bookings. Paying A Deposit Please pay your agreed deposit by clicking the make a payment button in the main menu. You can enter the agreed deposit amount and pay online using a debit or credit card or a PayPal account.
Remaining Payment The DJ will accept the remaining payment upon arrival at the event. The DJ will require a "cash" payment in full whilst they are setting up and before they start their performance. DJ's Commitment
The DJ guarantee's to supply their services at the location, date, time and fee detailed above minus the deposit already accepted by Book A Mobile DJ. The DJ will not accept another booking on the above mentioned date unless the booking is not confirmed within 7 days.
Contacting Your DJ
You must complete the timeline planner with your contact details included then submit it as soon as possible. Your details will then automatically be sent to your DJ. At this point your DJ will have the ability to contact you. If you wish to be contacted by your DJ more urgently please contact us using the message form stating this. Cancellations Customer The deposit is non refundable. If you wish to cancel you must do so in writing including any administration fee's. Your notice will be from the date we receive you notice letter and must be via recorded delivery. Please send your cancellations to Book A Mobile DJ, 208 Weston Lane, Southampton, SO19 9HL.
Administration Fees
If you cancel with more than 30 days notice from the event date, you will not incur a cancellation fee. If you cancel between 30-16 days notice from the event date, you will be liable for a £20 administration fee plus 25% of any outstanding fee's. If you cancel between 15-8 days notice from the event date, you will be liable for a £20 administration fee plus 50% of any outstanding fee's. If you cancel with 7 days or less notice from the event date, you will be liable for a £20 administration fee plus 75% of any outstanding fee's.
Administration fee's must be paid to book a mobile dj ltd within 7 days of your notice to cancel. Outstanding fee's are paid direct to the DJ's as compensation for loss of earnings. It is between the customer and DJ to make arrangements for cancelation payments. Cancellations DJ: If you can not attend a booking due to an emergency (emergency notice) you must telephone us immediately, by phoning 07830378356 (firstly) or 0800 612 3032. By agreeing to accept this booking, verbally or in writing, you are committing yourself in person to this booking. You must not give this booking to another DJ if you are unable to attend. Book A Mobile DJ ltd offer bookings direct to DJs, not agencies. This is to prevent high prices and to protect our high standards. If you do not attend this booking in person, and the customer does not receive the standard of service they have paid for, you will be liable for any compensation claimed from the customer. You are not entitled to cancel the booking at any time for any other reason than an emergency. Failure to comply with these terms will result in your profile being removed from Book A Mobile DJs database.
DJ's please do not accept this booking and it's terms & conditions unless you are 100% sure you are available on the date and time stated above and you will give this booking priority over any other booking that you may have made on the same date. Finding Cover Customer In the unlikely event that your DJ can not attend your function due to an emergency, book a mobile DJ will go to great lengths to try and find suitable cover. We can not guarantee to find you cover, although we will contact all DJs on our database within a 2 hr drive from your event. This on average, throughout the UK is between 60-120 DJs. If we can not find you cover, book a mobile DJ ltd will refund your deposit. Finding Cover DJ If you have to give emergency notice you must submit a report to book a mobile DJ and the customer explaining why you could not honor this booking. Your DJ profile will be frozen for up to 7 days until a satisfactory report has been received by both us and the customer. If both parties do not receive this report within 7 days of your emergency notice, you will be removed from our database. If your report has been received by both book a mobile DJ and the customer within 7 days, and the emergency is deemed genuine, your status will be restored and you will be eligible for bookings once again.
If you cancel more than once every 6 months, your profile will be removed from our database. This is to ensure our DJs are professional and committed to providing the service they agree to. In turn, our customers will book in confidence with book a mobile DJ and will give our loyal DJs a higher chance of regular business.
We may contact you prior to an event to check everything is still ok. If we can not make contact with you, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Our customers come first. If we are not satisfied that the booking is going ahead as planned, we will have no choice but to replace you. Responsibility & Liability Book a mobile DJ does not accept responsibility for the supplied DJ. It is the DJs responsibility to maintain their own health and safety procedures for their equipment and personnel.
We are a DJ booking service providing our customers a DJ finders service. We aim to provide our customers with a DJ that has the equipment, experience and availability to adhere to the customers requirements. If the customers expectations are not met, it is the responsibility of the DJ to deal with your complaint within 7 days of the event date.
All DJ terminology including the "DJ Levels", "Packages" and "Optional Extras" and exactly what you get for each product we offer is purely a matter of opinion, therefor we can not guarantee you will agree with the DJ you are sent against these terms. We do however try our hardest to provide you with the service you have asked for but in rare cases where your expectations are not met, we will be unable to offer you compensation. We base our business on what DJs claim to offer, if a DJ does not provide this service to you, it is the DJs responsibility to deal with any complaints the customer may have. We encourage you to report your complaint back to us within our feedback form to ensure the DJs standards are enforced and maintained. We want to know if you feel you have not received a fair service.
All negotiations are between the customer and the DJ. Contacting Each Other Once the planning form has been submitted it is expected that your DJ will make a courtesy call or email to you to introduce themselves. We do not guarenteed the DJ to contact you therfor if you have not heard from them within 7 days of you submitting your planning form, please notify us and we will ensure to inform you of thier contact details Agreeing To The Booking Customers agree to this booking by either paying the agreed deposit online and/or signing the digital contract.
DJ's agree by accepting the booking via email, text message or verbally.
